A new information and communications technologies revolution is evolving – new models are defining product innovation and service delivery. Digital lifestyles now combine voice, packaged and spontaneous video, location- based services, sponsored relationships and close integration with the World Wide Web. Networks are getting faster, smarter, more secure, and more reliable. Consumers have never had it so good and service providers have never been more deeply challenged as they seek to migrate traditional business models to the emerging plethora of digital choice.
With the theme “Leading Connectivity through ICTs”, ‘CANTO 2007' will explore the technology, business and policy issues created by the accelerated and continued convergence of information and communication technologies.
Leading experts from around the world will discuss successful strategies for advanced information services, video, youth and lifestyle marketing. Policy makers will explore the options and impact of next-generation service licensing, VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) and other new and emerging technologies. Vendors will also demonstrate the infrastructure platforms and consumer devices that enable the transition to future business models. Roundtable discussions will focus on the Information and Communication Technologies infrastructure in the Caribbean ; the use of ICT for Disaster Recovery and Management; and Exploiting ICT for retail and enhancing the quality of life experience.
‘CANTO 2007' will display a 86-booth exhibition that will showcase all the latest products and solutions from around the world and give delegates an opportunity to view demonstrations on the latest technological innovations.
Social activities within this event will blend the best of Barbados local culture and cuisine while providing an opportunity to network and strengthen business connection in an island where there is “never a dull moment” - Barbados

Eighty-six (86) hard-wall booths will be available in the Exhibition Hall of the Sherbourne Convention Center . The booth locations and numbers are located in the floor plan included in this document.

Booth Accessories
Each hard-wall booth will be equipped with the following:
- Syma hard wall booth (panels are 1 m wide and 2.50 m high)
- 1 spotlight
- 1 medium sized table per standard booth, with company name and booth number (2ft x 6ft) and 30” in height.
- 1 header sign per standard booth with company name and booth number
- One plastic trash receptacle
- One double AMP electrical outlet 120 V/ 50 Hz (single phase). Also, 220 V/50 Hz (single phase) can be delivered on request.
- Vacuuming (daily vacuuming of the booth space can be made upon request with Sherbourne Conference Center

Payment Schedule
Exhibitors are urged to make all payments and register for the conference through our web-based facility.
Full payment must be made once the booth has been booked in order to ensure the space. Invoice for payment will be generated through Cvent upon request. Cancellations between 01 st May – 30 th May, 2007 will result in a penalty of 25% of the booth cost. NO REFUND will be made after 01 st June, 2007. All cancellations must be made in writing.

Participants are responsible for making their own hotel accommodation. Please s ecure your hotel reservations online by using the appropriate link below to benefit from the Group Discount Rate.
You must be registered with CANTO to take advantage of the special hotel rates and the special transportation benefits for registered delegates at the preferred hotels.
Registered delegates who stay in CANTO preferred hotels receive complimentary transportation to and from Sherbourne Conference Centre and the social activities venue.
Transport time to Sherbourne Conference is about 15 - 20 minutes. A Taxi Service is available from all hotels at around US$15.00 one way.
A discounted rate has been negotiated with the Barbados Taxi Association from the Airport to all CANTO Preferred Hotels. Please look for the CANTO logo after clearing the Barbados Immigration Checks
