First Annual hr training and best practice CONFERENCE

Conference Objectives

  • Collect and share three Human Resources (HR) and Training best practices per Caribbean operator in attendance to support Caribbean telecommunications operators' business goals such as increasing productivity, improving morale, and enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Focus on key areas to help Caribbean carriers strategically face new competitive challenges resulting from a liberalized marketplace
  • Create personal action plans to implement back on the job that will support the carrier's corporate mission and vision to help obtain buy-in to new ideas from senior leadership
  • Publish and follow-up on best practices and group recommendations to measure the success of the conference (Note: Decision makers at each carrier will decide which recommendations to implement within their own organizations)
  • Develop relationships with Caribbean operators' HR and Training professionals facing similar challenges through a wide variety of networking activities
  • Design plans for training courses CANTO can offer in 2007/2008 that will support the strategic objectives of Caribbean carriers
  • After each subject matter expert presentation, participants will break out into different groups to share additional best practices, develop personal action plans to implement back on the job, and continue building new relationships with counterparts at other Caribbean carriers facing similar challenges
