CANTO views its role in the Caribbean Telecommunications community as that of leadership in influencing policy, expert in providing information in all aspects of the industry and facilitator, in encouraging dialogue and meaningful collaborative enterprise. This philosophy is captured in our mission statement: “working through the sharing of information, expertise and coordinating efforts to facilitate the provision of quality telecommunication services for regional, economic, social and cultural development for the Caribbean.” CANTO as the Premier Telecommunication Association in the Caribbean provides a vehicle for effective networking among operators, policymakers and government officials in the region through it various activities.

Active membership
This category provides for any telecommunication company or administration which operates a public telecommunication network in a Caribbean territory for the expressed purpose of providing national and/or international telecommunication services.
The entitlements under this category are:
